The mass spectra and decay widths of γ ,ψ ,φ and ρ resonances in a simple quark-confining, analytically solvable, two-step potential model to study the quark-antiquark system, have been studied. Results are found to be somehow in good agreement with experiments and also with the values predicted by others.
