Abstract: Microcystin LR in Microcystis aeruginosa Kütz , collected from Sri Sakhett, Thailand, has been investigated using reverse-phase HPLC with UV detection and the percentage yield was calculated using calibration curve. The results showed a 0.059% yield of microcystin LR (2.93 × 10-4 g in 0.50 g of sample). The structure of microcystin LR was confirmed using NMR spectroscopic analysis.
