Abstract:

In the present article, the study of the superconducting state parameters (SSP) viz. electron-phonon coupling strength

l, Coulomb pseudopotential m*, transition temperature , isotope effect exponent a and effective interaction strength N of some bulk metallic glasses using Ashcroft’s empty core (EMC) model potential. Five different types of the local field correction functions due to Hartree (H), Taylor (T), Ichimaru-Utsumi (IU), Farid et al. (F) and Sarkar et al. (S) are used in the present investigation to see the screening effects on the aforesaid properties. Presently obtained TOVC from Sarkar et al. (S) local field correction
function is found an excellent agreement with available theoretical data. Quadratic equation has been proposed, which provide successfully the values of bulk metallic glasses under consideration. Also, the present results are found in qualitative agreement with other such earlier reported data, which confirms the superconducting phase in the glassy superconductors.
