Abstract: A systematic iterative approach is presented to evaluate the scattering lengths for a few non-singular and singular potentials of finite range. In particular, square-well, Coulomb and Centrifugal potentials have been considered for the case of non-singular potentials and for the singular potentials an inverse fourth power and two logarithmic singular potentials have been studied.
