Abstract: A novel Pastalotiopsis species, from living leaves of Keteleeria pubescens collected in Guizhou Province, China is described based on molecular and morphological data. This taxon is characterized by its olivaceous concolorous median cells and relatively transcribed spacer (ITS), partial β-tubulin and partial translation elongation factor 1-alpha (tef1) gene regions shows that this strain forms a distinct clade separated from the other species in the genus. Based on evidence from morphology and molecular phylogeny, Pestalotiopsis keteleeria sp. Nov. is described herein. |
