Abstract: The peratization scheme normally used to obtain scattering length A(α) is through the Born series in powers of the coupling constant g. In this paper, starting with the standard equation for the scattering length, two new approaches to peratization technique have been discussed. These approaches have been applied to different potentials successfully.
