On Friday 10 January 2025, a group of 8 staff members from the Suranaree Journal of Technology Office, Research and Development Institute, Suranaree University of Technology (SUT) visited the Chiang Mai Journal of Science (CMJS). These 8 staff members were Editorial Board Members of the following 3 journals:

• Suranaree Journal of Science and Technology (SJST)
• Suranaree Journal of Social Science (SJSS)
• Suranaree Journal of Health Science (SJHS)

     The main purpose of their visit was to exchange ideas and knowledge relating to the upgrading of their journals (e.g., by attracting high quality articles and increasing the number of citations) with a view to attaining a higher journal quartile classification. The SUT group were warmly welcomed by the CMJS Editor-in-Chief (Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wasu Pathom-aree), the Associate Editor for External Relations (Dr. Robert Molloy), the Editorial Assistant (Ms. Narisara Vitvongkungval) and the Head of the CMU Faculty of Science's Research and Foreign Relations Section (Mr.Phichai Nakpathom).
